2016 DE/OLB Khalid Kareem Sets a Date

After a roller coaster of a recruitment, Farmington (MI) Harrison DE/OLB Khalid Kareem has set a date to put an end (for now) to the madness.

Kareem has decided to announce his college pledge on June 24th, which gives Harbaugh and staff a little more time to put in their final pitch. However, this is in no way a slam dunk as Kareem holds offers from just about everyone and was rumored to be leaning towards re-joining MSU. Is that still the case? That is unknown. But Scout’s Allen Trieu did say that Michigan did a really good job on his latest visit to Ann Arbor at the end of May.

This is a decision to keep an eye on for sure. I am predicting MSU for now but wouldn’t be surprised to see him choose Michigan thanks to his chance to possibly see the field early and the whole education factor (he holds multiple offers from Ivy League schools).
