Harbaugh is planning on turning Michigan into Tight End U and, after missing out on their top choice for 2015, the staff is looking to bring in multiple tight ends in the 2016 class. While multiple offers are out to the top guys in the class, the latest offer is to a fast riser in Berkeley Prep\’s (Tampa, FL) Jacob Mathis.
Mathis is underrated in terms of stars, in my opinion. He has the size, athleticism and catching radius of an elite tight end and reminds me a bit of Devin Funchess. And in Harbaugh\’s offense, he would have a chance to thrive.
He holds offers from the likes of Ohio State, Miami (FL), Stanford and Florida.
