Michigan has been lacking toughness and versatility, and it\’s something Harbaugh is looking to fix right away. To help, they have offered another underrated two-way player in Wisconsin tight end/defensive end commit Jake Pickard.
Honored to say I have just received an offer from Michigan 〽️〽️#GoBlue

Pickard is a 6\’6\’\’ 231lbs, JJ Watt Jr. at his New Jersey high school. He has the size, skill and tenacity to dominate as a pass rushing defensive end, a run blocking tight end and a pass catching tight end. Add in his tough nosed style of play and he looks like the prototypical under the radar Harbaugh recruit he consistently landed at Stanford.
While he\’s been committed to Wisconsin since the end of July, Pickard let 247Sports\’ Steve Wiltfong know that he is being recruited as a TE/DE and he will visit Ann Arbor this weekend ($):
“This is kind of been a school I wanted to go to since this whole process started,” Pickard said. He camped in Ann Arbor for the previous staff. “I just have to see how the visit goes and take it one step at a time.”
Wiltfong added in that if his parents take the trip with him, there\’s a possibility he leaves Ann Arbor as a Wolverine.
