Michigan hosted a nice group of visitors this weekend, including a handful of prospects out of the Buckeye state. One of the main 2017 visitors that made their way to campus was Plain City (OH) Jonathan Alder TE Trey Pugh. And things went about as well as possible.
“It was great”, Pugh said. “I got to see most of campus, the business school, football facilities, and I watched practice”.

Every first time visitor points something specific that stood out the most. However, Pugh enjoyed several things about his visit, including the way Michigan would use him in their offense.
“I loved the facilities and business school. Both were super nice. I like the coaching staff as well and the way the TE position is utilized”. Pugh said he was able to sit down and talk with both Jay and Jim Harbaugh. And though some may see Jim as a different character, Pugh said that’s what he likes about the Michigan head man.
As for where this visit put the Wolverines, “Michigan is up towards the top of the list but I don’t want to openly put anybody ahead of anybody else yet. Still keeping my recruitment open and open to hear what any schools have to offer”, Pugh said.
Though he said the staff wanted to get him back up for the Spring Game, he’s unsure if he’ll be able to make it. But either way, Michigan is in great shape after this visit though it’s still early and more offers are likely coming throughout the remainder of the cycle.
