Without ever playing a snap for Michigan, 2020 signee Williamstown (NJ) DL Aaron Lewis has entered the transfer portal, per multiple reports.
Lewis was a three-star prospect and early enrollee this January, expected to give a boost to the depth chart. The versatile defensive lineman’s high ceiling was a nice get for the staff in 2020. But that staff saw some big changes, especially in Lewis’ home state of New Jersey.
Expect more to come out about why Lewis decided to leave the Wolverines.
UPDATE: Per 247Sports’ Brian Dohn, Lewis’ decision to transfer was because of a family health issue and him needing to be closer to home ($).
