Just a day after adding a new commitment to the 2020 class, Michigan said goodbye to another as 2020 West Aurora (IL) DT Denver Warren announced his decommitment from the Wolverines in an informative Twitter note.

Warren committed to Michigan with a produced video back in early July shortly after visiting Ann Arbor joining WR Kalil Branham and CB Andre Seldon in the class. But with things looking better than ever with five-star 2019 DE Zach Harrison and six defensive linemen already in the class, there are only so many spots on the roster for one position group. The staff is clearly short on DL spots in 2020 and will be picky with the available spots.
This is a tough break for Warren but with offers from the likes of Michigan State, Penn State, and Iowa, he’s a good player that should end up at another good program.
