With one tight end commitment already in the 2017 class, the Michigan coaching staff is likely looking to bring in two more tight ends in the class and should have a pretty good shot at their latest offer, St. Viator (IL) TE Cole Kmet.

Kmet is one of the most well rounded tight ends in the class. He has the size and athleticism to be a big time playmaker in the passing game and as a blocker. As for their chances at a future commitment, with the emergence of Jake Butt, Michigan should have a great shot at landing the Midwest star, though Notre Dame will be tough to beat.
