– One of the best players in the country, Thornton is a playmaking point guard that can cross you over in a phone booth. His handles, vision, and decision making makes him a perfect prospect for John Beilein. If JB can develop Thornton like he has with his former point guards, he could be another B1G POY. His summer visit to Ann Arbor for camp solidified the Wolverines in his top group but with Kentucky pushing, this will be a tough pull.

– The long, sharp shooting forward is a perfect fit in Beilein\’s offense. He has the length, height, athleticism and range to be a versatile weapon on the wing. Once Michigan offered, most believe he will definitely end up in Ann Arbor and I tend to agree. With a summer or two in the gym, he could be another big time player.

– The big man dominates at the high school level thanks to being several inches taller than the rest of the competition. His height, length, shot blocking ability, and outside shooting should make him a great player in Beilein’s system. However, he will have to add some muscle to his frame before being able to perform at his peak level at Michigan.
