— Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu) August 29, 2015
Josh Ross had an up-and-down game. Looked good when he could shoot a gap, but got caught up in the muck a lot.

St. Mary’s 2017 ATH KJ Hamler

K.J. Hamler surprising me in run support on defense. Two tackles, one big hit just now.
— Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu) August 29, 2015
So far, @Kj_hamler looking like an absolute beast in all three phases of the game.
— Isaiah Hole (@isaiahhole) August 29, 2015
KJ Hamler with a lil sauce and the first down for OLAKE. 17-yard catch and run.
— Branden Hunter (@JustCallmeBHunt) August 29, 2015
2017 DB-WR KJ Hamler having a solid game on both sides of the ball. Almost picked that one off.
— Branden Hunter (@JustCallmeBHunt) August 29, 2015
OLSM is up 14 – 6 on Detroit Loyola at half. A few real nice plays from Hamler showing off his quickness. Good run after the catch guy.
— Matt Pargoff (@MaizeBlueNews) August 29, 2015
Defenses have to give Hamler's deep speed so much respect that he's getting any hitch or screen he wants with plenty of space.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
OLSM beats Loyola 24-12. Hamler looked good in all three phases; especially impressed with his physicality on defense considering his size.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
KJ Hamler wins MVP. Good day at corner too. Says Louisville is the only school recruiting him there too. He's open to it. No visits planned.

Detroit King 2016 WR/CB Donnie Corley
Donnie Corley vs. Allen Stritzinger outside so far. Getting physical / little chippy. Corley got into him on a run block.

Pretty quiet half for Donnie Corley. Had a PBU early and a tackle, but only targeted a couple times on offense and missed badly both times.
— Matt Pargoff (@MaizeBlueNews) August 29, 2015
Donnie Corley picks off Josh Wilk. Nice play to undercut the route.

Make that two INTs for Donnie Corley. Just as good at DB as he is WR.
— Branden Hunter (@JustCallmeBHunt) August 29, 2015
Detroit King 2016 CB Lavert Hill
Looking for consistency from Lavert Hill today. Lost outside contain on a big run by DLS, came back with a stop on 3rd and goal.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015

— Matt Pargoff (@MaizeBlueNews) August 29, 2015

Detroit King 2017 ATH Ambry Thomas
Following a Donnie Corley pick, Ambry Thomas catches a hitch, breaks a tackle, and runs past everyone for a TD. 10-6 DLS late in 3Q.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Thomas is an impressive athlete. Saved a touchdown earlier by chasing down a WR from well behind. Responsible for a 13-point swing.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Ju Ju Jordan to Ambry Thomas for 12 yards. Juggled the ball a bit.

Allen Stritzinger's 1st half INT: pic.twitter.com/cTvZ5RUd3e
— Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu) August 29, 2015
Stritzinger is a 2017 kid, has a Michigan offer. Could play RB or CB at the next level. Looks good at both spots.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
This is no knock on Stritzinger's ability as a running back: quickly becoming convinced he's best as a corner prospect.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
He's been step-for-step with Corley when matched up on him, jammed the heck out of Ambry Thomas, and just had a TFL on a Hill end-around.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Stritzinger finally got an opening to the outside, great plant and go for a 66-yard TD… and it's called back on a hold.

Cass Tech 2017 WR Donovan Peoples-Jones
Rodney Hall to Donovan Peoples-Jones for a 47-yard pass to the 3-yard line.
— Branden Hunter (@JustCallmeBHunt) August 29, 2015
Donovan Peoples-Jones looks really good early. Nice punt return and a long catch up the seam. CT drive stalls; 4th-and-goal fade goes OOB.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Peoples-Jones caught it anyway, not that it counted. Really smooth runner. Covers a ton of ground without looking like it.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Cass Tech 2017 DB Jaylen Kelly-Powell

Tough run by Jaylen Kelly-Powell for the TD. Cass takes the lead at the end of the 1st.
— Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu) August 29, 2015
Great play by Jaylen Kelly-Powell to get to a deep ball and force an incompletion. Saved a potential big play for Southfield.
— Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu) August 29, 2015
Jaylen Kelly-Powell with the big hit for Cass Tech.
— Branden Hunter (@JustCallmeBHunt) August 29, 2015
Kelly-Powell just lit up a receiver on a third-down catch well short of the sticks. He's been aggressive and for the most part in control.
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 29, 2015
Jaylen Kelly-Powell just drilled a kid. He's had a really good game.
