This will be a very small class thanks to the large 2014 class. They have already added Robinson as a transfer from Williams College and may be looking to add one recruit. If they do, it looks like it will be Perry Dozier Jr. or no one. But thanks to a great visit to Ann Arbor and the chance to be the only commit in the class, I like Michigan\’s chances to bring in two new players for 2015.
1. SF Duncan Robinson, 6’8” 190lbs. New Castle, NH (Williams College – Transfer)
– The smooth shooting big man will be a perfect fit in Beilein’s offense. He transferred over from D-III Williams College after averaging 17.1 PPG and earning Division III Freshmen of the Year. D-Rob won’t become eligible until 2015 when he’s a RS Sophomore but should really help as a scout team player throughout the 2014-15 season.
Michigan\’s Chances: COMMITTED (Enrolled)
2. 4* G Perry Dozier Jr, 6’5” 180lbs. Columbia, SC (Spring Valley HS)
– It is unknown if Michigan will take anymore than Robinson but if they do, Dozier is the main target. He visited recently for two days and loved the visit. He\’s a pure two-guard that has the ability to knock down shots from all over and finish at the rim, similar to Tim Hardaway Jr. Landing Dozier will be a tough pull but Beilein is trying to sell him on being the only commit in the class.
Offer: Yes
Michigan\’s Chances: Very Good
