Look Who’s Visiting Now: 2018 BBQ at the Big House

While the staff hosted it’s (likely) most successful recruiting weekend of the year in June, the summer of big visit weekends isn’t over just yet. The annual BBQ at the Big House is set to take place this upcoming weekend, July 28t, and there’s another huge list of visitors that will be in Ann Arbor. That includes several commitments, some top 2019 targets but mostly top 2020 and 2021 targets, and even a 2022 target, that will be coming from all over the country.

Names to Watch

There are plenty of names on the target lists above that will likely end up at Michigan at some point but there’s no guarantee a commitment will take place during the trip. Though I also would never bet against it with so many top targets in town for a huge recruiting weekend. Some names I like Michigan for early on for include 2019 ATH Mike Sainristil, DE Tyrece Woods (if he’s a take), 2020 LB Kalel Mullings, 2020 OT Kevin Pyne, 2020 DE Bryce Mostella, 2020 WR Ian Stewart, 2020 DE Braiden McGregor, 2021 DL/OL Damon Payne, and 2021 OL Davion Weatherspoon.

As for guys who I think Michigan can make a move for during the trip, 2019 DL Mike Morris, 2019 S Jamal Hill, 2019 TE Isaiah Foskey (if he visits), 2020 TE Lukas Unger, 2020 RB Mookie Cooper, 2020 OL Andrew Raym, 2020 WR Josh Downs, and 2021 OL Kingsley Suamataia are just some of the names to watch.
