What\’s Happenin\’: Junior Day Reactions

This past weekend was best so far in 2014 for the Michigan fan base. The young Wolverines basketball team beat Sparty again, for the season sweep, and the football team hosted several of their top prospects in the 2015 and 2016 class. Outside of a commitment (which was extremely close to happening), this weekend was a hit for everyone involved.

Here are some of the big moments and reactions from the first \”Junior Day\”:

Visitors

According to both Tom VanHaaren and Steve Lorenz, Harris had a great time during his visit. Not only did he love the basketball game, he also loved the student section chanting his name during the hockey game on Saturday night.

4* WR/ATH Brian Cole

The top player in Michigan stayed the night in Ann Arbor, joining Harris at the hockey and basketball game.

Looks like all positive reactions from Michigan\’s visitors, which is expected. Tyree Kinnel believes Michigan is in good shape with Cole.

4* MLB Darrin Kirkland Jr and 4* OLB Asmar Bilal

The #5 MLB in the country showed up with his friend, 4* LB Asmar Bilal, and seemed to have a great time on their visit. The coaching staff let them know that they will be contacted later this week, which could possibly be offers for both players. If so, I think Michigan will be near the top of the list for both, especially Bilal (who sports a 4.16 GPA).

2 of the best backers in the state repping #317 at Michigan\’s Junior Day. Hope they pull the trigger on us both!
