Three More Michigan Offers Go Out

The amount of offers extended by the Michigan coaching staff has dropped off considerably over the last two weeks thanks to the satellite camps. However, three more offers went out recently. Two to future top targets for the 2017 class in Memphis (TN) RB Cordarrian Richardson and New Orleans (LA) ATH Bruce Jordan-Swilling, another to a stand out camper at the Mission Viejo satellite camp, in 2016 Norco (CA) S Troy Dye.

Richardson is a big, power running back with offers from the top programs around the country, including Alabama, Florida State and LSU. With him being from SEC country, it will likely be very tough to pull him out but this early offer at least gives Michigan a punchers chance.

Jordan-Swilling is another national recruit for the 2017 class, already holding offers from the likes of LSU, Oklahoma and Miami. He has the size and athleticism to be a star at multiple positions and, like normal, Michigan is likely recruiting him as just an athlete right now. If he somehow chooses the Maize and Blue, they’ll figure out his real position later on.

Dye is a big, long, physical safety that can cover and lay the wood. He has that nastiness to him that is clearly what the staff is looking for with other offers out to the likes of Dontavious Jackson, Chris Brown and Josh Metellus. And Michigan looks to have a good chance to add all of these targets, though Oregon looks to be a big hurdle in Dye’s recruitment.
