New Michigan Man: S Jordan Morant Commits to Michigan

Jim Harbaugh and his coaching staff always put together their top overall recruiting targets for each recruiting class about a year before National Signing Day. For the 2020 class, there were plenty of wanted names but not many were higher on the board than the latest commit, 2020 Bergen Catholic (NJ) S Jordan Morant.

Scouting Report

Morant is one of the top-ranked safeties in the 2020 class and it’s easy to see why as soon as you turn on his tape. His instincts are off the charts and he pairs that up with an aggressive, hard-nosed, tone-setting style of play. He can play centerfield or up in the box as he isn’t afraid to lay the wood in the running or passing game. The potential combination of Morant and 2019 signee, Dax Hill, could be one of the most talented safety tandems in recent program history.
