Michigan’s new coaching staff was unable to bring a scholarship linebacker into the fold in 2015 but that doesn’t mean they will skip the position all together. On top of bringing in preferred walk-on Chris Terech, they will also bring in Flint Powers Catholic (MI) LB John Andrysiak as a PWO (per MLive’s Aaron McMann)
Andrysiak is the son of former Notre Dame quarterback Terry Andrysiak (85-87) and a standout for FPC. Like most walk-ons, he’ll have to come in and develop to become a contributor moving forward. But the raw talents are there, he just needs more time in the weight room and with the coaches, and I could see him becoming a nice special teams player, at least.
