In the most surprising commitment of the mega June weekend visit as longtime top target and former heavy Wolverine lean, 2020 Milton Academy (MA) LB Kalel Mullings has committed to Michigan over Stanford.

Mullings is a legit four-star prospect at both linebacker and running back but Michigan is bringing him to Ann Arbor to man the MIKE position. He’s a well-built, smart, physical athlete that has the speed to cover sideline to sideline and the smarts to run the defense. And it may not be long before he’s contributing to the defense even with a strong linebacker room already in place. His athleticism and talent will be hard to keep him off the field whether that’s at MIKE, WILL or at least special teams.
