Michigan is looking to start the 2016 class with a signal caller and they are expanding their search outside of the elite names. The latest offer is to Avon High\’s Brandon Peters.

Peters is a four star quarterback and the #10 pocket passer in the country (according to 247Sports). He has the height (6\’5\’\’) and build of a prototypical QB, a good arm and  athleticism for his size. And with the offer, he let The Wolverine\’s Brandon Brown know that Michigan is his leader ($):

\”It would be an awesome experience to play under a coach like Jim Harbaugh. It\’s awesome. I definitely would put Michigan at the top now, to be honest with you.\”

He also let Brown know that he\’s looking to visit this spring for some practices, which could be interesting because Michigan\’s other top choice at QB, KJ Costello, could be visiting at the same time. Both are the top two favorites to be Harbaugh\’s 2016 quarterback commitment.
