Defensive game changers is what the Michigan coaching staff is searching for and their latest offer is out to a safety, committed to Miami, that fits that billing: S Devin Gil out of Hollywood, FL.

Gil is a big, physical, playmaking safety that has a nose for the ball and would be a very nice fit in Durkin’s defense.

Though he’s committed to the in-state Hurricanes, he let The Wolverine’s Brandon Brown know that Michigan immediately jumped into his top three ($). He let me know that the fit in the Wolverine defense for him and teammate Devin Bush Jr (who visited this weekend) is what stands out right now. He also plans on visiting Ann Arbor “soon”.

Getting him on  campus is huge and with Bush Jr having a great visit to Michigan, things could get very interesting here. Stay tuned.
