Michigan Could Soon Lead the Race for Eno Benjamin

Michigan has already extended 10 running back offers in the 2017 class but that list looks to grow in the near future as one of the nation’s top tailbacks, Wylie East (TX) RB Eno Benjamin, is set to be at the Dallas satellite camp on June 9th.

I’ve been speaking with Eno for a long time now and he’s expressed his interest in the Wolverines since the start. And now with the satellite camp coming up, he updated me on his recruitment and the possibility of Michigan extending an offer:

1. How has your recruitment been going? Any leaders at the moment?

Recruiting has been quite well, they’re all starting to roll in. I’d say all my schools are at the same level right now.

2. I know you’re planning on camping with Michigan in Texas. What else is on the docket for this summer (camps, visits, etc)?

Right now I’m not too sure, just feeling things out and moving along. But this week I’ll be hitting up a lot of schools

3. You’ve been high on Michigan from day one, what do you like about the program?
I just believe Michigan will turn their program (around) and become a top contender. They love to run the ball & also those colors are sick!!!

4. Have you been in contact with the staff? If so, with who?

I’ve been talking to coach Partridge and Coach Mattison for awhile now.
5. If Michigan extends an offer, what will it mean for your recruitment?
I am really diggin’ Michigan, so when they come around they may be at the top.

6. Any plans to get up to Ann Arbor for a visit in the near/distant future?

Yes sir, I working on a date to get up there. If it isn’t in the summer maybe sometime is the season

7. Do you have a timeline in mind for your recruitment?

No sir I haven’t really thought about making a decision anytime soon.

If/when Michigan extends an offer to Benjamin, they’ll become the out of state favorites for sure. And even though it will be tough to get him out of the Longhorn state, if one team could do it, it’s Michigan.
