MGoFish Staff Predictions: The Game

On the eve of The Game, the entire MGoFish Staff has put together their predictions for tomorrow’s Michigan-Ohio State match up and though we try not to be homers, we couldn’t all help but pick the Wolverines:

Owner and Managing Editor, Garrett Fishaw: 34-23 Michigan

Ohio State and Zeke Elliott will come out firing after what happened during and after the MSU game last week. However, Michigan’s offense will keep UM in it in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, Michigan’s defense steps up to create a big turnover. Rudock then hits Chesson on a long touchdown pass before Jabrill Peppers ices it and scores on a touchdown that is in the highlight tapes for years to come.

Football Contributor, Emmitt Jenkins: 28-20 Michigan

With the issues going on in Columbus, this is a perfect time for Michigan to take advantage. I don’t want to say OSU has quit on the season but after the loss last week it sure seemed like it. OSU has enough talent to be competitive but I don’t think it’s enough to overcome this ambitious Wolverines team

Basketball Contributor, Matt Haskell: 24-21 Michigan

Rudock plays an efficient game…Peppers on special teams makes the big difference…short fields makes the game easier on the offense.

Graphic Artist, Brandon Whitaker: 27-17 Michigan

Michigan will struggle stopping Ohio State’s rushing attack in the early goings of the game. In the end, the halftime adjustments will prevail and the Boys in Blue, led by 2 Jabrill Peppers touchdowns, will claim bragging rights until next season.

The MGoFish Show Co-Host, David Arnold: 34-32 Michigan

Shenanigans will rule the day. It will never be comfortable for Michigan, but the cumulative experience of playing in so many dog fights this year pays off in a big way against Ohio State. Rudock struggled early, but stays calm and comes up big late.
