Look Who’s Visiting Now: June 23rd-24th

With the entire Michigan football roster expected to be on campus this week, and it couldn’t be coming at a better time as the coaching staff is also expecting a very nice list of recruiting visitors. That’s expected to include the top running back and offensive tackle in the 2019 class, as well as two 2018 defensive targets that the staff could make a big move for after the weekend. And this doesn’t even include 2018 Lawrence Central (IN) LB Cameron McGrone, who visited Ann Arbor on Thursday, and earned himself an offer.

Check out which recruits are visiting Michigan this weekend:

2018 Valero Beach (FL) LB David Reese

According to The Wolverine’s Brandon Brown, Reese and Sherwood will visit Michigan this weekend ($). This is a visit I’ll be paying close attention to throughout the weekend. Reese is a player with a huge upside and looks like a dream prospect for Don Brown. He’s long, quick, athletic and has the frame to put on a lot of size without giving up his speed. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see Michigan make a big move for the versatile linebacker this weekend.

2018 Jensen Beach (FL) S Jamien Sherwood

Sherwood is in the same boat as Reese. He’s another high ceiling athlete out of Florida that Don Brown has to love. With the need for 1-2 safeties in this class, he’s a guy I could see the staff push for during this visit. Though, like Reese, Miami is seen as a heavy favorite here but I could see Michigan making a big move during this trip.

2019 IMG Academy (FL) RB Noah Cain

Cain is the top running back in this class and looks to be one of the staff’s top overall targets. And they’ll have as good of a chance as anyone to make a huge impact on his early recruitment with his, reported, four day visit.

2019 Belleville (MI) OT Devontae Dobbs

According to TMI’s Brice Marich, Dobbs will visit on Friday. He’s another top ranked player at his position but, unlike Cain, Dobbs is a in-stater that already holds my Crystal Ball prediction to the Wolverines. We’ll see if the staff can sway momentum back in their direction after Ohio State started to gain some early steam.

2019 Archbishop Hoban (OH) OL Nolan Rumler

According to Wolverine247’s Steve Lorenz, Rumler will visit Michigan on Friday ($). And, if you’re thinking about anyone possibly committing during this visit, he is by far the best bet. I’ve had my Crystal Ball in for him to UM for over a year. Just looks like a matter of time before it happens. Could that time be this weekend?

2019 IMG Academy (FL) LB Charles Thomas

According to Wolverine247’s Brandon Justice, Thomas will visit Michigan this weekend ($). Justice is the lone Crystal Ball predictor for Thomas to UM but that may not be for long. I’ve already included him in my first 2019 BGRC and am close to putting in my CB as well here thanks to Thomas being very pro-Michigan since receiving his offer from the staff over a year ago.
