Look Who’s Visiting Now: 2019 BBQ at the Big House

The second best thing Rich Rodriguez ever contributed to the Michigan football program (behind Denard Robinson) will take place this weekend. The 2019 BBQ at the Big House has become an annual mega recruiting visit each year and this year’s should be another big-time event. And before you even ask, yes, I already have the lawn chair out as more fireworks are expected.

Check out which 2020, 2021 and 2022 recruiting targets will be in town for the barbecue:

  • 2020 S RJ Moten
  • 2020 S Makari Paige
  • 2021 DT Tywone Malone (Thursday)
  • 2021 DT Rocco Spindler
  • 2021 OL Garrett Dellinger
  • 2021 OT Caleb Tiernan
  • 2021 OG Noah Josey
  • 2021 OC Ryan Linthicum
  • 2021 RB Donovan Edwards
  • 2021 DT Damon Payne
  • 2021 ATH TreVeyon Henderson
  • 2021 OL Rayshaun Berry
  • 2021 OC Davion Weatherspoon
  • 2021 OL Drew Kendall
  • 2021 WR Andrel Anthony
  • 2021 DT Alex VanSumeren
  • 2021 RB Corey Kiner
  • 2021 ATH Zakee Wheatley
  • 2021 WR Dekel Crowdus
  • 2021 LB Damon Owens
  • 2022 CB Myles Rowser
  • 2022 CB William Johnson

As for who could drop this weekend, the main names to watch are the three 2020 expected visitors. Moten has a set decision date for the same day as the BBQ which should say all you need to know. Paige is a guy who has been trending hard towards the Wolverines. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a decision while on campus.

UPDATE: 2020 CB Darion Green-Warren no longer expected to make it to town.

For 2021, names I’ll be paying close attention to include Caleb Tiernan, Rocco Spindler, Andrel Anthony, and Corey Kiner.
