Michigan’s 2018 recruiting board is starting to take shape as the staff has already extended around 100 offers. But there are some guys that standout among others as top targets and players who the Wolverines look to have a real shot at landing. Bishop Sullivan Catholic (VA) LB Teradja Mitchell is a guy that fits both of those categories.
Mitchell received his offer from Michigan back in March but it’s Jim Harbaugh’s Twitter activity that has caught his eye the most:

But that’s not the only thing from Coach Harbaugh and Michigan that Mitchell is liking.
“Great and prestigious offer to have received and the tradition of the program is great and I love how active and energetic Coach Harbaugh is.” Mitchell said.
Though Michigan is a big offer for the Virginia standout, he has a childhood favorite that already extended an offer his way.
“I’ve always grew up an LSU fan, so they were one of the many schools I was very excited to receive a scholarship from.” he said about receiving any dream offers.
As for what could be a deciding factor in his final decision, Mitchell said he’s looking for a “great business program” as he plan to major in business.
Already holding 30 offers and listed as the #1 inside linebacker on the 247Sports rankings, Mitchell is a player that most programs have made a priority early on though he said he’s just enjoying the process at the moment and everyone is on even footing at this point.
With his sophomore season in the books, Mitchell plans to ramp up his recruitment this summer and is already planning on making trips down to SEC territory. If the Michigan staff continues to push for him, they may be able to get a visit out of him as well.
